Exercising with Mono

What has been your experiences with exercise while with Mono? I just turned 40 and i just got officially diagnosed with mono yesterday although i'm pretty sure its been with me now for several weeks. I was and still am working out 2 to 3x per week but i haven't noticed any difference in fatigue on the days i'm not working out from the days i am working out. Do you think exercising prolongs the time to healing? Otherwise, i'm able to get a good amount of rest every night.

" If you can do it and feel fine, why stop? Good for you! You obviously have a mild case. I was in bed for weeks and unable to stand for a shower let alone exercise. Go you, lucky thing!
Just don't overdo it - a little exercise is a good thing for boosting immunity. "

" they say you shouldn't exercise because you could harm your spleen or liver if they're enlarged, but I think that could only happen if you do contact sports, or go overboard... mild exercise apparently improves a lot of things. "
