I'm on day 24 of this mono. Does it get better? I'm still tired, running a low grade fever and have a sore throat. Someone tell me how long this lasts. I'm sick and tired of feeling sick and tired all the time.

The doctor ran some blood work yesterday and assured me I have SIX TO EIGHT MORE WEEKS OF THIS TO GO. UGH.

I feel your pain. I have had it active for about two years now. I also have some autoimmune problems so don’t worry it shouldn’t be that long for you. I hope you get better and I am still leading an active life even though I do feel fatigued all the time.

I really don't think the doctors can know when it will go away-- it could be six weeks, it could be one, it could be longer. Don't know if this helps you or not... just so you know it doesn't have to be that long! Are you taking any supplements to help your body fight??
