I am a 32yr old male and I have this stupid infection (if that is what it is) I have had it for about five months now and I hate it! I am married with two great kids. It started on my belly and worked it's way "down there" as well as my upper thighs. At first I freaked out. I asked my wife if she had any symptoms, if she was faithful, yea real great discussion! My doc asked if I had recently stayed at a hotel, which I did about six weekd before they popped up. He said it is common from hotels, i.e. showers, towels, sheets, pool..... So there i was with about 20-30 of these things. I first tried cryo therapy. left scars, didn't work. Then I tried to burn them away. left scars, more came back. I then tried Aldara. No difference after five weeks. Then I tried to pop one even after everything I read said not to. BINGO! The key was to get the nucleus of the "mulluscum" out. It is easily identifiable just be sure to look closely. It also will bleed like hell when you get it out. I made sure to use alcohol before and after I did this. After i popped all of them, I have had only two or three surface each week for the past three weeks. very easy to manage this way. i just have to inspect myself daily.
So far my wife has shown no symptoms. i pray that she doesn't have to go through this but if she does, at least will will have something in common:) I just can't wait for the day that it is finally gone for good. no more inspecting myself, no more popping these things, no more of feeling like I am a complete outcast. oh yea, since i have had this, I have become less outgoing and problably borderline depressed. great stuff huh? I totally understand how you feel. I have the little devils for about 4 months. I tried laser and crush and payed 400 euro alredy. I never thought about home-crushing though... I have 5 new ones so i gonna try. I asked a doctor friend of mine and said that crushing (in a medical environment with special instruments) is the best way to get rid of them. The problem is that new ones come in the surface (they were too small when i first went to the doctor, so they were unnoticed) and now they grow up. You have to crush them immediately and after 3-4 time they'll go away. Bonne chance

400 euro! Wow! So you call it crush over there huh? Interesting. We just pop them here! I did hear of a few people who used a tool that removes "black-heads" for their molescum. I think another big part is cleaning the area with rubbing alcohol not only after you pop them but at least twice a day to keep the area clean and dry. Hopefully they will be gone soon. I was so excited that I didn't have any new ones in a few days then another one came up on my lower stomach! Very frustrating.

Just another comment on some products I tried,
Tea tree oil did not work and it smelled VERY strong. not something you would put on and go out in public with. I am talking one drop and the whole room will smell it. Zymaderm is a SCAM! It is tea tree oil mixed with iodine. It is a waste of money. Again it stinks like hell. I bought two bottles (VERY small bottles) and I am going to try and return the one I didn't open. Aldara- Didn't work. it irrated my skin which I think made it worse at time. I am sure the stuff works for some conditions but not this one. Not touching them- If you do this, you may have more than you would like. The bumps are not fun to look at and while they are there the risk for spreading them goes WAY up.

what i'm gonna do is go one more time to the dermatologist, pump out the three remaining and then start an homeopathetic drug called thuja fopr a month. If any new ones come out i'll pump them out at home. Hope it works. have anice day.

Well it has been a week now and no bumps have shown up! It has been about six months since it all began so hopefull my body has finally figured out that these don't belong and developed an imunity to them.
If no more pop up, I wonder if i can catch this disease all over again? Hopefully not because as I said before, molluscum SUCKS!

went to the drug store and expalines the situtation. I asked the pharmacist to give me a thuja pill. She suggested to take one Medhorrinum pill and after 10 days the thuja pill. ! hour after taking the medhorrinum all the warts and molluscum warts started to disappear. The last three days i dont have any warts and just waiting to take the thuja pill. Viva homeopathetic!!! Go to an homeopathetica doctor and forget all the shitty cortison drugs& the lasers

Happy to hear your positive results with the new medication! Mine decided to come back after being gone for a week:( BASTARDS! So I am back again popping these stupid things and using alcohol.
Is there another name/spelling for the Medhorrinum pill that you had talked about? I tried to google it and can't find it anywhere.
