hard time with memory issues

i am having a very hard time with my memory, and it has been suggested that i get a palm pilot. i looked and found them to be more money than i can afford right now. do any of you have and idea for something similar? i have tried keeping a note book but this is not convenient when caring for three boys.

They those mini recorders like doctors use you just record what you need to and play it back when needed. The recorders are not exspensive at under $20.00. Good luck! CHRIS

My wife uses a combination of her mobile and our phone. If she is out and remembers something she has to do or speak to, she will leave a message on our answer machine. She then checks this at very times of the day. Elmo
