I'm sick, fighting some nasty viral thing, so needless to say i am not a happy camper. Kylie went back onto the vent yesterday. She has a lung infection, probably pneumonia. They have done cultures and are giving her antibiotics. If it isn't pneumonia, it may be a problem with one of the shunts that they put in her heart. Well, I thought it was funny! Some of you may not but...It gives you a peek at normal Stowers family life.
The Kylie report is OK, back to baby stepping again. We are off all but 2 continuous drip meds! OK so that is a big step. A little bit of a diuretic or water drug, a little bit of an antidysrhythmic for her heart. We are down from 12 cont. drip drugs two weeks ago, also a giant step.
