When to ttc after repeat D&C

I had my first of two D&C's on Aug 15th. The repeat D&C was due to leftover products of conception on Oct. 1st. MY Doctor said towait 2 cycles before ttc, that was after the first procedure. We didn't discuss it after the second. I have now had three cycles since the Aug 15th procedure and am ovulating. I would love to ttc now, but I'm a little confused about the timing. Anyone in a similar situation? Do you think I should wait longer? I am going to ask her, but I'm ovulating now so I don't want to pass this chance up if I don't need to. Your opinions are appreciated:-)

" I have had 2 d and e's in the past 8 months.
My RE said that as long as you wait one full cycle, we may try again.

She said that it makes no difference in the outcome, if you wait 1, 2, or 3 cycles. Just wait for one normal period, for dating purposes.

This is assuming that you are emotionally ready to try again.
Good luck! You are most fertile the first few months after mc, too. "

" I agree. I think you should be fine to try again at this point. Good luck! "

" It's worth asking why they want you to wait too.
Sometimes it's just to date any pregnancy that occurs and when I was TTC I didn't think that was a good enough reason (that's what dating ultrasounds are for!!) :)
If you know why you're waiting it also helps emotionally if you really want to try again. Just waiting because you've been told to is far more unpleasant than if you understand the reason and risks.
Good luck. "
