My husband leaves for BCT Monday. He is 27 and is going as an 0-1
Im really scared as we have 3 kids and i know most likely he wont need to be deployed sicne he is supposed to be doing strictly work here in our local training center as military police. Im gonna miss him alot when he leaves for Basic as hes leaving for 18 weeks (BCT and OCS) to Fort Leonard Wood in Missourri and we live here in Boise, ID. Posted on 06/12/12, 07:18 pm |

just make sure to write to him. he may only be able to write one or two letters a week back, but the letters you write him will mean a ton. have your kids write him (or draw pictures for him, depending on their ages). just keep up the contact
you'll like Ft Leonard Wood if you are able to get out there for family day (i believe they have that for the officer courses). i know things might seem tough, but it'll all be ok. keep your head up and remember, you are both military now :)
