Sending letters

I've been trying to send letters to my fiance who's in basic training for the army reserves at fort sills, oklahoma. He didn't know the address before he left and now I haven't been able to find it online. I did find one address but the letter I sent to it came back as unable to forward. Does anyone know HOW I can write to him?

" The recruiter will know the PHYSICAL adress not the roster number or even the building he is in and may not even know his platoon. They can't help. In all honesty they know very little more than you do because basic is different for everyone everywhere and every MOS. Plus they switch around the platoons and companies alot in basic. "

" He is supposed to get a phone call to 'home' and give his address. He should also be able to send a letter or two. You might be able to get info from his parent/s or recruiter.

Sometimes it is too painful to connect to home once they have made the break and need to concentrate to make it through the first weeks.

Having said that, I am sure you will get a note...when you write hime back do this...since they cannot have candy or sodas, etc., it is funny to send them a letter written on the back of a scan of all of their favorite candies! LOL I put M&Ms, Reese's, Baby Ruth, Butterfinger, and more. Then I covered it with a black cloth and hit the scan/print button. He said that everyone got a big kick out of it!

Go over to navyformoms.com and navydads.com, you will learn a lot and find some comfort there.

He will connect with you because he will want you to be there for his PIR (Pass in Review) or graduation! It is THE proudest day ever...I would not have missed it for the world.

He can only invite four people and I hope you are one of them! "
