Sending letters

I've been trying to send letters to my fiance who's in basic training for the army reserves at fort sills, oklahoma. He didn't know the address before he left and now I haven't been able to find it online. I did find one address but the letter I sent to it came back as unable to forward. Does anyone know HOW I can write to him?

" They will be in entrance battalion for about two weeks before they actually start trainin. They are inprocessing, getting blood work and a hundred different shots, they they get their gear and learn to march, get in formation stand at attention, ect. You may not be able to write them for three or four weeks you may be able to get a letter in about two weeks. Don't expect a phone call for a long time. But they can't get you an adress for a while because they aren't in their premanant barracks for two weeks and their adress is very spacific.

My husbands was

PV2 Nordberg
Echo Company, 3rd BN, 47th IN
Roster #346
5480 Roush Blvd, Bldg # 3210
Fort Benning, GA, 31509-4769

When you do send letters put their roster number on the back flap or they will have to push more for it. You probably already know this but no packages or they have to push the postage (if it is $3.45 they have to do 345 pushups) and they still won't get the package.

I went through this a year ago if you need someone to talk to I'm on all the time. I'd be happy to talk to you. Just shoot me an email. "

" Oh and it may be a little bit shorter of a time line. My husband was a benning and they are really really hard core (infantry base) and he's a warrent it was a strange set up. "

" I had to wait until my boyfriend sent me the first letter, so that's not uncommon. It was about three weeks until i got the first letter and four until i got a phone call. Patientence is hard, trust me I know, and when communicating through letter it is like you are in a weird time warp, but all the more to talk about when you see him :) "

" sometimes they may not get the letters for a while. my son kept wondering why we were not writing him and he got a months worth of letters all at one time even though the address and everything else was correct on them. the military is a hard life and the waiting is the hardest for me (the mom) i can only imagine being a spouse or a girlfriend. hang in there and you will get use to how everything works. " Usually they have to write you or call you first. Option 2 is to visit the recruiter who recruited him. They may help... or elect not to. Be patient, the first few weeks are wild and writing might be the last thing he is able to do. "

" The recruiter should have his address. The recruiters ALWAYS get the addresses for the guys they send to bootcamp. Talk to his recruiter, they should be able to help you out. "
