Has anyone been given multiple days of DHE injections and a medrol pack to stop untreatable migraines? My doctor is trying to do this instead of admitting me to the hosipital to stop the migraines. He is also taking me off from Cymbalta and trying me on Savella (its a new fibromyalgia drug). He said that Savella is better at preventing migraines than Cymbalta.

If anyone has had these injections (he is having me give myself these injections 2x/day for 4 days) or been hospitalized and were given DHE, will you please let me know how it all turned out? I am so desperate for something to work! It has been years since I have not had a headache.
