Does anyone get migraines flying?

Altitude is a big trigger for me. Even traveling short distances in a plane leaves me with a migraine that feels like my head will explode. No meds will take that away. My son has been living in Germany for three years and is very upset that I won't make the 12 hour flight to see him. I am terrified of how sick I would get on the plane, especially since I also get motion sickness, and its much worse with a migraine. Getting sick in front of 300 people is very traumatic, it happened once and I don't care to ever repeat that. So does anyone have any suggestions how to deal with flying? What could I possibly take that would make my head not feel pressure. They say airplanes are pressurized to 8,000 ft.That's pretty high for my head. I normally take Zomig or fiorinal, but they don't do a thing in this situation. Any suggestions? What does everyone do? I can't be the only one.

" Yes, I have huge migraine problems with flying. It doesn't matter how short the flight it is either.

I mainly have the problems after I land. I'll get a migraine for days. I'm sorry to say I havent found a solution.

For the nausea, have you ever been prescribed finnigan? That usually works pretty well for me. "

" Same thing happens to me. When I have to fly, I take morphine to kill the migraine as soon as it comes on. It's the only thing I've found that works. "
