I am new to this group and have had strange migraines. The best way to explain what my migraines are like are to stand on your head. Mi migraines make me feel like my head is going to explode. This happens mainly when I am sitting, laying, etc and then get up. That initial blood rushing feeling stays and only increases the migraine down my neck as well as right behind my eyes. Does anyone else have these similar symptoms? What do you do to relieve them? Right now for me it is popping a percocet...

Sometimes my migraines come from my neck. I have horrific neck pain. I also get pain in my right eye. I describe it like this: a sharp steak knife stabbing me over and over again directly into my eye. I also get the head rush upon standing, then weak knees, and my vision blurs almost to blackness.
I have daily headaches and neck pain. I take: Topamax (300mg), Zanaflex, and Maxalt. I also get BOTOX injections every 3 months. I use to take muscle relaxers (robaxin), but I chose to stop that. I also take Cymbalta and Trazadone. I have been popping some left over Norco (pain pills), and I want to get more. A few weeks ago I even smoked some marijuana. Chronic Daily Pain that never goes away has led me to try many things. Migraines are a crazy thing, and if Percocet is working for you, and your Doctor is happy with that treatment option then good for you. Even after everything I have tried, I still get about 6 migraines a week. Welcome to the group, and good luck.
