My doctor has prescribed me Relpax. I've never heard of this; but I was willing to try anything to help my help. I have got to tell you that this medicine is amazing!!! I take it on the onset of a migraine and within one hour I am up and going (so far)!!! Honestly, I still cannot believe it. Now the side effect that I have is my throat gets super sore and raw and very dry but I am willing to live with that. Has anyone tried these and how did they work for you? I hope they continue to work this well.

" I haven't used it, but I think it's a triptan, the same as maxalt, frova, imitrex, zomig etc. Sometimes different people get different help from different ones of these.

I'm so glad you finally found relief. "

" I used relpax and still use it once I get migraine. It does help! The only side effect I get is insomnia. Somehow it just keeps me awake. Besides that it is good. "

" I use Relpax as well. I have been on it for about a year and a half now. The only downfall to this...make sure that you take the medication on the onset of you migraine...or it will not work if you wait toooo long. I have had that happen to me. Some nausea if I have not eaten is the only side effect that I have ever experienced. It is amazing....I was thrilled when I started using it as well. I also take Topamax as a maintainence medication at bedtime...which has reduced the amount of migraines that I used to get.....good luck!!! "

" I take either Maxalt or Axert. Haven't tried Relpax. What are the side effects? I get good results with Maxalt as long as I take it as soon as it starts. I think that's the problem with all of us...trying to decide if THIS time it's going to be a migraine or not. Pam "
