It may have been my error, but I believe I was trying to state Robaxin at the ER, not Ritalin. While certain kinds of ADD medication have shown slight promise in preventative treatment of migraine, it was Robaxin (methocarbamol), a muscle relaxant, which has been used in IV to treat refractory migraine.
