" Yes. Through both the histamine release that happens, and the sinus pressure triggering one. "

" Yes it certainly can.
Either as an allergic reaction to something itself, or from a normal allergy attack being just another thing in your day to bother you.

Allergy pills, cleaning and the Ionic Breeze are my best friend. "

" Absolutely. Mine get much worse in the spring and fall when the pollen counts are at their highest. For me, the sinus pressure will be the trigger. "

" yes!!! I learned that when I started keeping a migraine diary. i have 3 kinds of migraines. Allergy, stress and something else that triggers it but havent figd it out yet. In fact, benedryll is the first thing I take now when I get a migraine just in case its from allergies. I take two...If nothing else it'll help me sleep. And it helps with the nausea! "

" I would like to add that one of the off-label medications for migraine is Singulair, an allergy medication. (along with Accolate, and Zyflo) It blocks leukotrienes, which cause both an inflammatory reaction and histamine response.

A medication used mainly in children is Periactin, which acts directly on the histamines. Benadryl, Dimetapp, Claritin, etc..will do the same thing. "
