A new JAMA study published April 2007 Looked at a new combination pill of Sumatriptan (Imitrex) and Naproxen (Naprosyn) for Acute Treatment of Migraine
1) Combo pill contains 85 mg of imitrex and 500 mg of naprosyn 2) 2 studies ran parallel each with over 1400 people 3) A significant number of people have complete migraine relief at 2 hrs AND 24 hrs with the combination pill (imitrex + naprosyn) as compared to imitrex alone, naprosyn alone, or placebo 4) I imagine this combination pill will be available on the market soon.
