What medicine is good and works right away to help with migraines?

Everybody responds to something different. What works wonders for one person, doesn't do a thing for another. For me, Zomig, which is a triptan works wonders and is the only thing that stops my migraines. Others find triptans useless and depend on narcotics to stop a migraine, while at the same time, narcotics trigger my migraines or worsen and existing one. Work with a good neurologist who specializes in migraines to find the right course of treatment for you.
The shots work great, but in my case the headaches always come back the next day twice as bad so I avoid the shots.

I dont even know that this is a question that is easily answered. People and mirgaines vary a lot and what does and doesnt work varies just as much.
