My insurance only allows me a certain amount of medicine each month and I get migraines all the time and end up running out my dr called a prescription in for at least 15 pills per month as oppossed to the 9/month they were giving me. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this if I need more?

" Well, I was just denied for the second time. They denied it on the basis of my contract states exclusion as follows "coverage for Prescription Drug Products for the amount dispensed (days' supply or quantity limit) which exceeds the supply limit".

Therefore, since they only allow me to have 4 pills a month, they are denying my doctor's medical opinion of necessity for additional pills.

I am glad, however, that I can have 4 of each of the triptans each month.

I was trying to get more Relpax, I also have taken Frova and Axert.

Does anyone else have suggestions of what medication I should try next? I like the Frova because it doesn't make me so drowsy.

Any other suggestions for the next appeal? "
