Has anyone else had a constant headache lately? I can't seem to get rid of it. I've taken Treximet and Naproxin for the first couple of weeks with no relief. Then my neurologist put me on 3 days of dextamethasone; it disappeared for two days and then came back. And now he has me on 6 days of methylprednisolone. The first 3 days were ok, but now that I'm on the last day, the migraine is back.

YES !!!!!!!!!!!
I've had one for the past 3 1/2 - 4 weeks as well. Doesn't seem to matter what I try, it just comes right back again...never had one last this long before and it's about driving me crazy. A lot of people here have been bad this spring...probably due to the weather and air pressure changes, but I know that stress and fatigue are contributing to mine as well

When I get one like that the only relief comes from Demerol or morphine. If I go into urgent care they will normally give me a shot of heavy narcotics and phenegren and it tends to snap me out of it. I'm sorry you're going through that it is horrible to have no relief like that. I hope you find something that works.

I feel your pain. I too have been suffery greatly the last month or so. Had a chronic migraine for 1.5 weeks which ended me up in the ER twice in that space. Finally got rid of it foura bout 10 days which was fantastic but it came back on Thursday with severe vomiting etc, had it for three more days and it eased off, now back again today. I think it is related to air pressure changes because I do notice that it seems to get worse when it gets really dark and cloudy and it looks like there is going to be a thunder storm. I am dying again today, but today's was different, started off with a bad dizzy spell and then about half an hour later the migraine was back but this morning I felt great. I hope you can get rid of yours soon because I know how exhausting and hard on your body it is both mentally and physically. Hugs.

I have noticed that I have been fighting off the bad ones constantly the last few weeks. I am assuming that it is because of the weather going from warm and dry then back to cool and raining and back again. I hate it because even though I havent had constant severe migraine pain I have had the pressure in the spots that it always comes in at and have had probably 3 full blown migraines where I wanted to be dead. My roommate has flexerol which saves me when it gets bad just because it knocks me out.....I know it is bad to take someone else's scripts but when you dont have insurance or any way to go see the doctor you do what ya gotta do.
