Now that I have awoken to boil number 48 today and the weather has turned wet, windy and gloomy for the season here in the Great NorthWest; my thoughts turn to the time when a Doc said to me, seriously, 'We should put guys like you on an island.' I said that was a grand idea, you supply the dancing girls and big screen TV and I'm there. So where do you think us MRSA Typhoid Mary types should live out our aching, wheezey, pus filled days? I've never been off the continent so my expierence is limited. And no, Vancouver Island is not an option. Silly Hosers.

Sounds to me like you should find another doctor. What an a@#$%%^)$#!!! You should also think about filing a complaint with the medical board and health dept. Guys like this DO NOT NEED TO BE WORKING AS PHYSICIANS!!!!!!!!!

Try colloidal silver topically (and drink a few drops a day too) for MRSA:
http://www.colloidalsilvercuresmrs... Also try tea tree oil, olive leaf extract, and/or oil of oregano Colloidal Silver seems to have the best track record, according to foreign medical sources (but in the US you're not allowed to know that).

It sounds like you have it bad. you don't have much to lose by trying alternative treatments since the conventional ones don't seem to prevent outbreaks. Colloidal silver is expensive, but can be found at health food stores. You can also buy or make a machine that can produce it cheaper. I'd be interested to hear how it works for you. I'm going to get some today as I still have 2 MRSA slowly healing sores myself. BTW, the docs have me on two antibiotics which seem to be working, but very slowly.

Well Ross like you I have never been off of the continent either but maybe one of the little small islands off of the virgin islands that are not inhibited yet..Of course we have to have the big screen tvs...Diet mountain Dew and your dancing girls.. me I would settle for conversation..

Haha well I must say those things seemed to have helped me fight an infection own my own for the very first time! *dances around*
ummm let's just go to a very nice and sunny tropical island ... nice clear waters and some sweet ganja for the smokers would be nice. A nice BBQ for the rest.. somewhere in the carribean.. you KNOOW, there ARE islands out there you can buy for the price of a mansion. Seriously. Poll money anyone?
