Has anyone seen this?

Seems I may have been onto something with my tanning theory?

" Looks promising. But I wonder why the effect of dimishing returns. Took 10x the amount of exposure to light to kill 80% of mrsa, than it did to kill 30%. Curious. "

" Yeah, not sure of the success but definitely worth a shot (on this end anyhow). I had posted a question earlier on about if anyone had success with tanning as I remember in my younger years any acne that I did have was dried up as a result. I quit, for fear of premature aging but as I have a MRSA patch across my face which bothers me way more than crowsfeet around my eyes would, I have to weigh my options. Since reading the article I came across this on google product search http://www.truesun.com/proddetail.... I am in no way endorsing this product, I haven't tried it, but it was the first one I came across on my search that seemed to fit the bill but if I can find one a little cheaper, heck yeah I'm trying it. " I read that it does not work as well as they initaly thought, in fact, it may contribute to siginifigantincreases in to risk of skin cacer development. It also kills off good bacteria, in addition to the MRSA. It's stil an unsafe and non-clarified procedure. Small doses of natural UV rays with protection may help the skin. "

" Saw this post and thought I'd share:

I know someone who has had some success topically using light therapy but NOT AS THEIR ONLY METHOD of treatment. They also are very strict with their diet and use a host of other natural supplements. I think she said she uses the triple array (blue, red, near IR). However, I have no idea what this all means and have not researched. Here is the site she told me about:

http://www.elixa.com/light/arrays.htm

She still get outbreaks but only every 9 months. She seems to control them very well, though, with vit C, essential oils, olive leaf, wild oregano (not the spice), and olive leaf.
