Length of Time In Between

So... I was wondering how long you guys have went AND what is the usual length in between getting new infections, boils, abscesses, whatever you wanna call them? The longest time and the usual, average time?

Right now it has been a month and a half for me and I'm feeling really hopeful. Continuing to attempt the decolonization. It has also been 40 days today since I quit smoking cigs.- Been taking high quality supps, eating well and generally staying happy.. (getting ready to move into my dream house in a month!)... .so I'm hopeful.... But I was pretty hopeful after going ten months. I thought it was "gone" then.

Well, for me... I went four months, then ten months... then...? It remains to be seen. You know, I feel fortunate compared to some stories I've read. But then I don't feel fortunate also because I'm allergic to so many meds.

" In the 24 months since I first got sick, the longest run was 3.5 months. Alot of times it averaged every 6-8wks. Sometimes just days between outbreaks, like I go PICC line removed and 4 days later, Wham, new ones. Oh, if only the mrsa wasn't such an unpredictable Mistress. "

" I haven't had MRSA in over a year, hopefully it eventualy simply goes away in milder caes, as mine was. The outbreak can occur within days of one another, weeks, or months.....it is uncommon for years to pass between infections at this time. "
