Another Boil But Positive Attitude

Hey guys just an update on me. Any suggestions?

Well Last week I mentioned to everyone that I had gotten a the beginnings of a boil on my chest. Well it happened and on Tuesday this week It really began to hurt. I have continued putting Bactracin on it and also washing it a couple times a day. I am staying positive about this for a couple of reasons. A. It is only one boil. B. I really think taking my vitamins has really helped with my immune system. Wednesday night it really began to hurt, I came home to 800 mg of IB and went to bed. I felt OK on Thursday and it started to drain a little bit. I covered it up and used tape ouch when that came off. Pulled chest hair and it make the area a little tender. So, I stuck a panty liner to my shit guess what works great. I called the advice nurse at my Dr.'s office even though I can not see my regular Doctor because of the stupid county program nor can I get into see one of their Dr.'s . I explained to the advice nurse that my sugars were good, no temp, and BP was normal. She was going to forward a message to my Dr. with the Antibiotics I was on the last month and see if he could just call them in for me. I really do not want to go sit in the hospital for 6-8 hours. I woke up this morning and I did not feel right I took my temp and it was 100.4 my sugar was at 157, and my Bp was high. I took 800 mg of IB and then laid down after I took a shower. I had put some boil ease on it last night it was all caked on and I felt if I at least shower I would feel a little better. I showered and laid down and my Fever broke so far no fever last time I checked about an hour ago it was 98.4 and my Blood sugar was 111. Keeping my fingers crossed that I do not have to go to the hospital. Also the boil really started draining and just a little bit ago I went in and milked a bunch of stuff out of it and washed it with hibicleans. Changed the dressing etc, The difference with this boil is it burns and stings a lot it weird. I'm not worried but I know if I have a spike in temp or Blood sugar I am going to have to go to the hospital. My Doctor was out of the office today so he did not get the message he will most likely get it on Monday. For the most part though I am trying to keep and Open mind and keep thinking positive because this could be a lot worse. Although I am going to have to take a stock in panty liners and bandages etc. OK well if anyone has any comments or suggestions please shoot them my way. I hope everyone is doing well! As I say every week if you need anything please let me know. AJ

" Yeah, don't worry about your temp.- a slight fever is just a sign of an infection. Just keep a positive attitude. Do you take allicin garlic? (regular garlic pills can't be absorbed by the body...quite a scam)- Now might be the time to add that or one other supplement... and/or go get some tea tree essential oil, add a bit to soap or buy tea tree soap and use that. Good luck! "

" kloc - just wondering about your use of panty liners - are you using them to keep your clothing clean instead of a bandage? Interesting idea...

I have a spot in the crook of my elbow where I had a touch of poison oak which became infected, it was almost gone when I was treating it and leaving it uncovered, but flared up again after I covered it with a bandaid...I think I react to the glue used in most bandages, my skin never looks right when I remove them, even if the wound is all healed...
