So, does anyone know any details about when, where, how, etc?
Here is why, I heard MRSA and the flu are a bad combo so I'd think MRSA and a pandemic flu would be a very bad combo.
I also last read (in Time) that on Oct 1st the 1st batch of the H1N1 vaccine would be shipped out, which is the nasal spray (live flu) for healthy adults (no diabetes, heart disease, kids, elderly, etc)... and then sometime in the middle of Oct the shot would come out...

But like... how in the world is this gonna work? I must admit I've been a bit concerned. I wanna make sure if there is a shortage of the vaccine that I know how to show that getting it could be bad for me...
Idk...any info on the details of that... or anyone even hearing any news of MRSA and H1N1 combined, I'd love to hear. =)

" I would also like to hear what others know about H1N1 and MRSA. My daughter (14) has been battling mrsa for several months now, and although I haven't heard about the combination of mrsa and the flu yet, it has had me worried. I'm worried about what mrsa might do to the immune system and if that could contribute to her getting the flu more easily. I'll be anxious to read what others have to say on this topic.

" I recently had a couple of MRSA infections, and I am also nervous about the H1N1 virus. I am definitely going to try to get the vaccine. I have looked around online a little bit to see what's out there about MRSA and the swine flu. There's some. Basically, they all say this type of thing: "These bacteria have the potential to produce pneumonia, and that's what happens whan you have influenza. The influenza interferes with the ability to clear these bacteria. The bacteria get into the lung, and then patients develop severe pneumonia in conjunction with their influenza infection." So, basically, getting the flu may give MRSA a chance to act up even more. But, this is just what I've seen online, so I dont know how reliable it is. "

" Having HA-MRSA will be more problematic than CA-MRSA in combination with N1H1. The pathogeon of N1H1 mimics whatever the primary illness you may have, icreasing the severity of the N1HI patheogens ability to spread within your system. The greater your immune system is depleated or underdeveoped, as i nthe case with small children, the greater the risk of contracting and increased fatalities will occur. There is a substantail correlation between either form of MRSA and N1H1 virus for increased fatality risks. Itis not to say that if you aquire the N1H1 virus and currently have MRSA is adeath sentence, but it should be of high priority to be vaccinated initakly with the flu vaccine, followed within a week, the N1H1 nasal spray or injection should be adminstered. Anyone with MRSA is at high risk of conrtacting the deadly form of the N1H1 virus. "

" I have been using silver shield gel putting a dab of it in my nose daily, it keeps you from picking anything up and if you sneeze it cuts down the germs you could emit....its worth a try...and its suppose to keep working for 5 hours after the application...so try 2 to 3 applications throughout the day....
