what are some long term effects of this infection? My daughter was recently diagnosed, after a knee surgery. I believe the infection got into her tibia bone. She's only 19 years old. I would like to have an idea of what to expect after the 6 weeks of antibiotics are over.

" Well, hopefully she's a one and done. Most of people on here, me included, continue to fight it long after the first wound. Once you have it, you are more susectable to getting it again. Alot of us also battle fatique, achy joints etc. A mostly run down feeling. Probably due to lactic acid build up, God Bless. Wish I had a brighter outlook for you. Ross "
