My grandaughter has been diagnosed around Christmas with mrsa that started as a boil, had to be lanced and treated, had same episode over Easter holiday. Docs just keep treating with antibiotics, but we are concerned this may be ongoing. Docs act as though its no big deal, just keep cleaning wounds. Shouldn't we be referred to someone who specializes in this, especially with her being just a toddler.

In Japan they treat MRSA with Dr. Ohhira's probiotics. There is a soap, for cleansing the wounds, a cream to put on the wounds and a probiotic that kills the smartbugs (mrsa) internally. All the information is on the website of the company that sells this product in the US. EssentialFormulas.com
In Japan this product is given pre and post surgery to prevent staph. They have been using this for over 10 years. It has reduced the amount of staph to practically nothing. You can give the probiotic to a child as young as 3 days old. It also gets rid of cradle cap, colic and digestion issues. Older children chew them and call them the black jelly beans. Actually when you chew them, it gets rid of thrush. Even in adults. I take 2 a day, on an empty stomach, and it has changed they way my digestion works. It actually works now. The TH10 strain of bacteria in the probiotic, the soap and the lotion kills bad bacteria. That helps the rest of the good bacteria to multiply and help your system fight disease. Even on the skin.
