Anxious Stories

  • Here we go..

Friday, April 4, 2008 | An Anxious story

Thursday Evening.....Woke up this morning with a back ache, but thankfully it hasn't bothered me too much during the day today. Hope I can sleep tonight. It's caused a fairly doosey of a headache.
Feeling a little stressful because my baby buddy Skippy (my little dog) is going to have knee surgery tomorrow (finally!). I had to take him in to the vet the other day because he swallowed some ...

  • Journal Entry for June 10, 2008

Tuesday, June 10, 2008 | An Anxious story

I need your input.  As you know, my older sister wants me to visit her this summer,  In order to do this I must fly.  I'm scared of flying.  I thought about doing some drinking before the flight to calm my nerves, but the flights are in the morning.  Too early to drink.  So, I've come up with an idea.  Buy an MP3 player(No, I don't have one.  Ye...

  • Where's the Haz-mat team when you need them?

Friday, June 27, 2008 | An Anxious story

Feeling a little better today and so I tried to get some errands done while I felt I could walk, drive etc. I didn't even bother to take a shower because the day was going to be about over and I knew I wouldn't have enough energy to go anywhere if I did. Sorry if that grosses anyone out, but it's a matter of being clean and being wiped out on the couch or getting the groceries t...

  • Incredible Pain

Sunday, August 31, 2008 | An Anxious story

Thank you everyone for your words of support, love, and wisdom.
Can't sleep or think clearly right now.
There are signs that point to a certain family member, a daughter, basically killing her.  Her oxygen was turned off, on zero.  She was very careful about it being set between 2 and 3.  Her daughter is a selfish, thieving drug addict.  My friend came into $5,000,00 less th...

  • Close Call

Wednesday, September 17, 2008 | An Anxious story

It seems I had a close call while on vacation.  I picked up my mail that was being held yesterday and noticed I had some of my neighbor's mail.  When I took it to them, they asked if I had been contacted by the police.  A couple of guys tried to get into my house Monday.  My neighbors saw them and called police.  The guys jumped the back fence, but were caught.  ...

    It's Friday !
Altho my scalp is still painful, it is not as bad as it was yesterday. So I am thinking that it will get better and better each day. Altho the surgeon said that it could be several things, I am holding onto the fact that it can be nothing ! The glass is always half full to me. And this is just another bump in the road.  It still hurts ....and bad....if I bend over. Sooo...

  • The beginning

    Sunday, December 28, 2008

On Dec 23rd, 2008 I started to feel a little tenderness under my arm but figured it was just an ingrown hair.  On the 24th that spot enlarged and got very hard, but was painless - so I figuredit might be a pimple.  On the morning of the 25th I woke to find a lemon sized cyst in the same spot that was very red both on the cyst and in the surrounding areas.  It was very painful ...

  • Transition

Saturday, February 21, 2009 | An Anxious story

Transition is over.  The culmination of 7 weeks of classroom and on the job training.  I enter the real world Monday.  It's been a long journey.  Full of sorrow, frustration, terror, fear, and joy.  Transition is a 2 week period of on the job training where we have close support from trainers on a five to one ratio.  The real world will have a 25 to 1 ratio. ...
