Meth Addiction & Recovery Support Group

You really don't wanna do this alone.Just like some of the other people said in other posts...It won't be easy either but you cannot give up!!!Giving up may seem easy but of course it will NOT work.Do you have a close friend or family member you could tell about your addiction?If so,tell them.You need all the support you can get.Meth is a horrible drug...They say it is one of the most addictive and I can say from experiance,it is.Withdrawal is rough...So it would be better to be in rehab but you said you didn't have insurance.I agree with some of the other people...There are free programs like AA and NA.You will get a lot of support from there.Do you think maybe you could sign up for insurance anyway?I would find out because if you're doing it almost everyday,it might be best and easier on you if you check into rehab.I hope I've helped in some way but remember,it's a day by day struggle with meth.Just hang in there and stay STRONG!!!I'm here for you if you need anything at all...I'll try to help in anyway I can.God Bless and good luck to you.

well my heart attack caused me to quit cold turkey been clean 4 yrs now that is not how i reccomend u to quit though....I died and came back. I BELIEVE IN GOD!!!! I know he brought me back as i was brought back without the drs doing anything..I layed lifeless no heart beat for 1 min while they were readying the paddles and then before they shocked my my heart started beating again...anyway the best advice i can give is to completely stay away from ur using buddies make new NON USEING friends...I seen sevral friends die and sevral friends with destroyed lives...I don't wish that on anyone..and i was like you able to hide it very well when i had my heart attack the people i worked with everyday were SHOCKED!!! Please do what works for you before u end up down my road....

i have a solution but its not healthy or a real solution, but its how I got off meth...I am reluctant to say it because its dangerous...

Narcotics Anonymous will not charge you.And it's anonymous.Don't give up on yourself.If nothing else talk to us.We will listen.

I know what you mean when you've done it to the point where you are able to sleep and eat. I've done that and up till 4 days ago, I was doing that. I thought I was fooling everyone. But I was only fooling myself. I've some to a realization that you don't have control over it because you're able to sleep and eat. It really does have control over you. Thats the drug making you think you're capable and able to continue your use. IT'S ALL THE DRUG.

Get the closest person to you that you trust, that will not judge, and will be able to dedicate a few days to you! Once you have that person, you have to tell them everything! And I mean everything! And if that person will still sit by your bed and help you go through Detox, then you chose wisely. Go through you detox and tell your friend that your emotions will be like a roller coaster and that you may say things that will hurt their feelings and emotions, but you don't mean it because it's the drug. Your friend won't be there to tend to your every need, because you will still have to care for your "self". That friend will be there in the case of dyer need and to assure that there is no more use and that you don't give in to temptation.

I have been Clean now 2 years and I know that it is Possible...You can do it !! I was On Meth for 6 years and it was the LOST YEARS I call them..I know that you cannot do this alone your going to have to come out and let your family know about your Prob....To be honest you think they dont know but they really do thats what I thought!! I found having a good family support and Na and AA Meeting got me through the past 2 years!:) I know you can do it you just have to get the monkeys off your back!!
Stop talking to the people that are using thats a good one Change your number Delete all the contacts that you have and re make your life!! I hope you get through this its hard but I know that you can do it !!
