I have been taking Adderall for 7 years. I finally found a good therapist and he did an "intervention" to get me off of it. I spent a few days in rehab.
Before rehab, I was getting more due to insurance was not paying for the amount prescribed so I was getting two scripts. I was prescribed 90 MG a day and it wasnt enough. Anyway, I have a 19 month old daughter and the only reason I don't get it off the street or die is because of her.. I feel like I am losing it! Posted on 05/28/07, 03:05 pm |

My son was addicted to them. He took 60 days worth in about 8 days. I refused to refil his prescription and told his psychiatrist through my psychiatrist. Lifes a Bitch you know.

Ok first I was heavily addicted to meth, got sick of the insanity of it and went into rehab 15 years ago. I have after one relapse back then, been clean from meth for 14 years. Well this year my son's doc puts him on adderall, that is not good to have that med around a former speed freak. Of course I tried it and it led me back to a horrible meth relapse. I think staying on topic that yes adderall in itself can be addicting as it has the same speedlike qualities.
