It looks like there are no active members here. I hope I am wrong. My oldest sister was just diagnosed with mesothelioma. Hers is quite advanced and she is refusing treatment. So in a week it's gone from difficulty breathing to having hospice called in.
I can tell I am already starting the grieving process. I just wish there was more hope out there. We don't know where she was exposed, so now we all wonder......who is next?
I have had many losses in my life. most have been quick and unexpected, I don't know how it is to die with lung cancer. I hate hate hate the thought of my sister being in pain or suffering through this. Any info or advice would be much appreciated. Shelley

" I am so sorry your sister was diagnosed with mesothelioma How is she doing? There is a nurse-practitioner Mary at the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation website at http://www.curemeso.org that you might want to contact.

I will keep you and your sister in my thougths and prayers. "

" Lola, I am Darlene(tdarlene) and there doesn't seem to be activity on this group, but reply #3 leads to a site that is so very helpful. The main office is in Washington DC now. I see you live there. Is that correct? anyway, the web site in reply by Faye State will help , I'm sure. contact me if you have trouble getting to it. Hugs to you, Darlene "
