" My youngest son does. He is 16. Can only read on about a 4th grade level. He is also a little immature for his age, but I think some of that is because he is not very confident. He knows he is different from kids his own age and tends to have friends a couple of years younger. Other than that he is like any other 16 year old boy. "

" I know what you mean, I went to school in the 60's and I had difficulty learning so instead of helping me the school just passed me through the system and I didn't learn much. I dropped out of school but I did get my GED and went to college so just do what you can and just keep on moving forward. don't let any one say you can't do it.YOU CAN!!! "

" My daughter is 19 and has low IQ. I'm looking for support for myself actually. I'm having a pretty tough time of it. She's physically 19, but mentally more like 15 and it can be very difficult at times. She graduated from H.S. a huge step for her and I'm letting her take some time off but she can't find a job. "
