Parenting a child with MMR

My stepson (who lives with us full time) was diagnosed as MMR last year. Testing done last year showed an IQ of 68. I would love any advice from parents in similar situations. I notice his differences mostly in social situations, he is so far away from his peers in recognizing social cues. It also causes a lot of fights with his sister who is 2 years younger and catches on to things so much faster than he does.

" My daughter's name is Lily! I understand your dilemma as I face that too, I sometimes have to seperate them for a while to let things calm down and thenthey play ok together again. It'll be interesting as I'm adding mr 7 to homeschool, I've homeschooled lily going on three years now.
Wishing you some rest and peace,
SusanNC "
