Yes, menopause does not officially start till one year w/o a period. No, it is NOT just you, it is all the hormonal changes in your body. You will lose the embarrassment as the symptoms slowly but surely take over your life, lol. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. You will find out you are a very strong woman! The clinic I go to would not even discuss meds, so I am doing this with vitamins only. Of course lots of prayer and support here! The best to you!
