anyone go back on birthcontrol pills because of hot flashes and mood swings? Anyone have wierd rash and burning itchy skin? Im 53 and in menopause. I was off the pill for a few months and could not stand the symptons. Went back on yasmin and it seems to help. Gyno says to go off and live with it. Family Dr. tells me if the benifits outway the symptons go back on for a year or two and try going off it then.

I just went back on birth control, but to control my bleeding. I am 49 and in perimenopause. I have tried a lot of things and haven't found the perfect solution for all the symptoms like mood swings, night sweats, long periods. I am trying the birth control for a year and then will probably go off and see wear I am at. It really can be frustrating because everyone is different. Good luck. I have had other problems with the bc like bad allergies, but the bleeding is much better!
