so ladies-I havent written in a while. But just gotta share this one. Hoping I am finally seeing the light @ the end of the tunnel! Was getting the TTOM about every 6 weeks or so..give or take. then May came, the 15th to be exact.. aunt Flo came to visit. June came..no period! toward the end of June tho, the symptoms all came w/a vengence (bloat/weight gain/cramps/backpain) but no flow. Lo and behold beginning of July, about 10 days after these symtpms started, it started (and here i was thinking it wasnt gonna happen).
Anyway, it went on for like 10-11 days. Then it stopped for a couple...then started again!! The weight, the cramping, the bloating and yes a little bit of flow. It's not a good "flow" per se, more spotting and mucousy (sorry to sound gross) Is this weird to get 2 close periods like this?? Should I be concerened? My thought is that because my cycle had typically been occuring mid to end of month, that maybe my body was trying to get back on track?? I dunno..thoughts?? My sister seemed to think that I am getting near the end. Posted on 07/19/12, 07:43 pm |

That is a crazy cycle LInda. I haven't had any long ones but I have
had 2 back to back a few cycles ago. I had it for about 4 days which is my usual and then exactly 2 weeks later I got it again. I wasn't too surprised because I had remembered telling my husband that I swore I was ovulating at the end of my last period. Thought some thing was weird but that's the only time I've had them that close. Other times it's anywhere between 23 and 72 days apart so who the heck knows when this will end. I'm guessing for most it happens after their spaced pretty far apart for a while and just eventually stop. My aunt on the other hand had hers regularly till she was 60, no meno symptoms at all and one day it just stopped. Lucky her. It's been close to 3 years for me and I don't see the end in sight any time soon. I'm really getting hammered these past few months with symptoms. I need some relief big time. I hope your feeling better and I really don't think you have anything to worry about. All sounds normal (considering). Good Luck, Donna
