hey Sawyer,
I am new here, but I have nausea also. Especially when I wake up. I keep Fennel Tea in the house and drink it when it is to bad. You can find that at a health food store. Do you have dizziness? tks!! noni1

Hi. I too have this problem from time to time. It generally passes on its own. One of the joys of the meno monster but if you are concerned about it get it checked out.

Ooohhh, I certainly don't have any advice, but I am actually shocked to see this here. I have really been avoiding my morning nausea bouts that happen about twice a week because I thought they were a symptom of my Chron's, but this puts it in a new perspective for me. I get sweaty, dizzy, and usually start gagging. I roped my PCP into some phenergin(sp?), and just used up the last one of 50, so I am stressed about making it through these little episodes w/o it. So yep, I get it, but I have no idea why, or what to do about it!~Tif

Hey, at least we are NOT pregnant! ha. It wouldnt be so bad, perhaps, if I'd actually have a barf-a-rama. Perhaps I could puke 10 lbs. away away off my ass...ugh, but the gagging and "crotchety-mode" I go into is awful.

I too have this symptom while going through peri-menopause. I usually get nausea a week before my period and one week after.
Sometimes it gets so BAD!!! Ugh...the joys of this rollercoaster ride! :-) Keep smiling as it's only as bad as we allow it to be...... ♥Blessings!♥

Hey, Ladies, it's me again! I have tried every kind of natural products for the sweats, flashes, nausea, and mood swings, but they just don't work for me! My mom, who is 67, and had a complete hysterectomy in her 40's, continually reminds me that she is still suffering from the menopause symptoms..it's enough to drive me insane, so I guess I will just grin and bear it.. I wash clothes now more than ever, especially since I also have a 100% disabled hubby, who, bless his heart, doesn't have the same eating etiquitte he had before the stroke! But, I gotta do what I gotta do, and will just continue to fight this thing the best way I know how, with a lot of support from friends and family! I Love all my DS friend's, and thanks to each and every one of you for the advice that you so freely give! Love to all!

The symptoms that come with menopause are so horrifing, it just drives me crazy. I never really have had the nausea problem, but I have had the sudden hot flashes and dizzy spells. I have epilepsy and so I would have different types of seiz. anytime around my periods. I had a partial hysterectomy about 5 yrs. ago and so I no longer had my periods, however, I could feel them when they came on once a month. After a while, I couldn't understand why, but I was having seiz. about every 2-3 weeks. That was strange, plus there would be times when I would be walking and then all of a sudden break out into a sweat and just about pass out. I thought this was all due to my epilepsy, but things got stranger and stranger. I went to see my OBGYN for some other reasons and after talking with him, he brought it to my attention that what I may be dealing with was menopause. I got some testing done and yes siree, that was it. The reasons I was having so many seiz. was because my periods were coming on every 2-3 weeks. I got some HRT and that has helped so much. It took a little while to get started, because I was afraid to go to HRT due to a lump I have and a strong family history of breast cancer, but I talked with all the Dr.s and I decided to go with the hormones and I couldn't be more thankful.
