Has anyone else suffered bad Migrains during the peri-menopause?? I am getting bad ones! I used to get them at 14years of age when i was starting periods! I also had them after my first child was born, im getting them again now so im connecting them with the hormones?????

Definitely connected with hormones! I get a period like once every three months now...and when it comes, its a doozy! I havent had these bad of symptoms since I was 13! The headaches, the cramping, the all over yuks! And more disgusting is the heavy periods....Something about feeling that drip, drip, drip, EVERYTIME I stand up just gunks me out!I think my body just has a hard time passing those square shrively eggs! I mean, how good could could they be? I'm 50! ugh....

I too get migrains a week before my period and a week after. I take a goody powder at the FIRST sign of the migrain and within 10-15 minutes my headache is COMPLETELY gone! I reccomend goody powder for headaches & Migrains. Good luck! :)
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor but have tried many different methods for headaches!

Totally hormonal! I used to get them really bad. On a beta blocker & haven't had one for awhile (THANK GOD!!!)

yes I have started suffering really badly with migraine and hadn't had them since my late teens, not had a period since august but getting migraines every week which are lasting for a number of days.

Hi Gator, Good Powders are a brand name (headache/pain) reliever and it comes in the form of "powder' it's individual packets. You can purchase this product at most any convenient store, wal-mart, drug store etc. Open one packet and take with one 8oz glass of water! Feel better SOON! (*(*BIG HUGS*)*) :-)
