I am going to be 45. I have a wonderful husband who would fly to the moon for me...at home we have left a 13yr old and a 3yr old. My mom died back in 2005....best friend and sister have both had hysterectomys.... so absolutly no support for me to find amungst family/friends. I am desperately looking to other women who have and are currently going through this. Have the hot flashes...and OMG night soaks.... was able to over come the vaginal dryness with KY Liquibeads since i refuse to give up on our wonderful sex life. However...I feel like a stranger in my own world. No medical insurance and dont like traditional medication. Thinking of Estroven... any words of wisdom for me? Very tired of feeling alone.

Hi there! First of all you are not alone on this. I've been going through for nine years. Just when you think you have all this figured out, another symptom pops up and throws you a curve. That's still happening to me. I'm going trough this with no medication other than tylenol or motrin for aches and pains and benadryl for my stupid allergies. The reason why is because they tried to give some anti-anxiety medication and instead of helping ended up in the er. It turns out my body has a low resistance to heavy duty stuff. Maybe it's a good thing who knows! I did try estroven but did'nt work . I just take it day by day literally. Excersice, try to watch what I eat since my ibs tends to get out of control sometimes. Oh, and lots and lots of prayers!! Believe me, that has become my routine. Talking to God constantly asking him to help overcome all this anxiety and wacky things that are happening to me. It will get better just hang in there. Remember, you are not alone. There are many of us going through this. It's just not hot flashes and irregular cycles. It's a lot of other stuff that drs sometimes don't tell you. But, guess what, you'll get through this. Enjoy the ride lol!!
