Menopause Support Group

Dear S:
As I age I can tell you that menopause does not have any particular age at which it begins. I personally was having issues in my forties and ran in the BRICK WALL at about 46ish. I take bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (plant derived) that is compounded in a special pharmacy in my city. I just found an endocrinologist in the last six months and I will tell you, that is the best idea that I ever had. She is in her forties and she knows her stuff!! I just started taking thyroid meds (elevated, though not HIGH tsh level) and I no longer have the intense feelings of anxiety that I thought was caused by diminished hormones (menopause).
I would suggest that you see an endocrinologist in your medical future. I am 55 and I JUST DID make this connection.

I take ymens natural soy capsules and it helps. I live in France so I don't know if they have it in the states.

I take peruivan maca if you would have seen me a year ago I was ready for the nut house. Peruivan maca has helped me so much I have been on it for a year.. I wouldn't give it up for nothing. Its all natural. google it and read what it does for menopause. Oh yah by the way I wasted my time and found something MACA.

Dear JK , Do you know if most medical insurances will cover the cost of bioidentical hrc treatment? I'm glad you found a concerned endo. My family dr. said something like "women have been getting through this thing for thousands of year without medication, but I'll give you something if you want!"

Does anyone know anything about Don Quia? (Probably spelled it wrong!)
