I caught the exact same thing Aug of 2008 they could never determine the cause words i kept hearing where Strange, Miricle, and I should not be able to walk, eat, or talk I didnt have any surgurys or shots I just awoke to a horrible headache and it started a 3 month battle to survive. From what i have read after getting this it is usaul less likely to get it again but not impossible I honestly feel your pain you are a strong person and i will tell you this if you have been seeing the same person for your issues I would seek a 2nd oppinion from a infectious disease specialist mine saved my life

Thanks.... Once you get it you can feel each others pain. The first time I had it I hallicinated for about a week. Was kind of like a dream kept thinking people were trying to hurt me. I will never forget the day I came out of it, my husband and childrem were so relieved. I nightmare I wouldn't put on my worse enemey (not that I have any). The second round I just had the blinding headache the first time 2 weeks hospital the 2nd not as bad 1 week.

Doc's told me chances are pretty high I will get it again.
