In response to a few comments this week, we fixed a bug that was allowing users to see others' private photos. We've done some testing of the privacy function now and it works, but not instantly.

The photos database is indexed every fifteen minutes and this information is then sent out across the several servers to include avatars, thumbnails and every other place where that image is stored. This function can cause some delays and we think it's important that you're aware.

Because the settings don't take effect until the information is indexed, it can be several hours before privacy settings take effect across the entire site.

We know how important privacy is to our members and are constantly working to improve privacy features on DailyStrength.

We are discussing the best way to speed this process up and will keep you updated as we move forward.
