I know a little about medicare and what my options are but I don't know anything about Freedom Blue. Can anyone shed some light on that for me?

" MedicareGuy,

My name is Darryl and I just joined Daily Strength. I have a suggestion regarding your Medicare situation. I spent months researching Medicare for my parents last year and that lead me to volunteer 3 days a week at GA Cares (Georgia's SHIP). I recommend you reach out to your state's SHIP organization. This is the State Health Insurance Counseling Program (SHIP). Contact the SHIP program for help in making decisions about Medicare Health Plans, Medigap Insurance, Medicare Drug Plans, and Long Term Care Insurance. The SHIP program can also help consumers understand their Medicare rights and protections, and help filing appeals.

It is staffed by trained volunteers to answer your Medicare questions in an unbiased format (funded by CMS and not insurance companies). CMS is the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

I would chat with a SHIP consultant prior to speaking with any Insurance company. You can also reach me for advice on this website as well. "
