I am a non resident alien in the process of getting permanet residence since one of my daughters is an american citizen.
I am 70 years old and have a kidney transplant and also suffer from macula degeneration. Will I be eligible for Medicare without waiting the five year period for resident aliens since I have a renal disease and am partially incapacited? Posted on 05/04/09, 07:05 am |

The Gov. has withheld part of my paychecks for the last 50 some years to pay for Medicare. If you've never worked here and paid your share, I don't know if you are entitled to Medicare.
