Okay, this may seem silly, but I'm really looking for help, and i wasn't really sure where to put this, or even begin to look for conditions that migth make me feel this way. So I thought this would be a great place.... cause why I feel this way is a mystery to me.
Okay, ever since 10 or 11, I've had this notion in my head that I`m not like everyone else. Not in the way, that I`m `special`or `unique`, but that i`m not really human. I`ve grown, and learned, and matured, and i`m now 23 years old, in univesity, with a wonderful life partner (my gilfriend), yet I still feel the same way. I`m not sure why, but this is how i feel. I feel like i am part-human, and par-alien, like a hyrid or something... Please help Posted on 09/24/09, 12:09 pm |

another thing i have that complicants things is what i call (Mutlipual Emotional Perspectives Disorder) everyday i wake up not knowing how i`m going to feel, or see the world, i feel like i`m sitting in the back of my head watching the world go by, traveling through life in a different emotional state from one to the next... i am aware, but i can`t do anything about it

Hi ReedNot Red...Wow never heard of Mutipual Emotional P Disorder...Is this tough you cant understand how someone else is feeling unless in their shoes...Is it similar in a way for myself I have a tumour on my pit right in the middle of which affects my emotions and my functions and oh boy it can be fun I dont tell anyone of my conditon and hide it as best I can.. but sometimes people look at me as if Im from another so although different disorder a hi from me.

multiple emotional perspective disorder isn't something that I've been diagnosed with, or think even exists... its just what I put a name to the way I feel sometimes. My main issue is that I believer I am part alien/ part human, and i don't know what to do about it

I did that for my conditon gave it a name..Lol weve both done something similar..For myself theres a reason although took ten years to find..So tough do people make comments whats the hardest thing you are finding coping with..

Just wondering ReedNotRed if you have talked to your doctor. You may need to be referred to a psycologist to begin with. And No,I don't think it seem silly. My son who will be 15 in January has been hearing voices which tell him to harm himself for almost 2 years now. He has been assessed by 2 psychiatrists,and they both think it is his autism and his thoughts and they come from his ocd and anxiety. My husband and I find it hard to accept.
