pelvic vein congestion

hi everyone,

i had been ill for two years... it has been a long battle with doctors not listening and treating me like it was all in my head.

last week i had a laproscopy and was finally diagnosed... with pelvic venous congestion syndrome. its like varicose veins in the pelvic region.

i add this incase it gives anyone here a thought for what they may indeed have. or a little extra hope.

the main symptom is PREASSURE.
mine was found behind the uterus next to the utersacral ligaments in the cul de sac/pouch of douglas. it was my left vein.. exactly where i told them for two years i felt something and that all my symptoms were coming from.
it did not just affect my pelvic region or the left local point of this congested vein, but the following-
all down my legs,buttox,thighs,groin.. all up my back, severe migraines..carmping at the base of my skull, lightheadness, dizziness, the preassure ran all up to my upper body to my head and chest. excessive bubbling gas in pelvis, diarreah and constipation, nausea, a lack of menstrual flow and late periods, cold chills and hot flushes, shaking,
fatigue,'fibromyalgia'.. and the list goes on !

it occurs when the valves in the vein are insifficient or faulty and instead of blod flowing one way, it comes back down and causes the congestion and buldging of the vein.
this blood is meant to flow back towards the heart, but not all makes it... which in my theory is why i got so lightheaded and blacked out and preassure.

it can be treated with a coil imbolisation or therapy

i hope this helps someone :)
feel free to message me.

" Holy crap this could possibly be my problem.I had a heavy miscarriage 6 months ago and have been going down hill ever since with all the symptoms you just mentioned. Was this found by your gynocologist and how was it found please tell me how I can get my doctor to check this.My mom has mentioned something like this happening to her friend and stressing that I get checked but I just dismissed it because she's a bit of a hypochondriac when it comes to other people being sick.
