" This is probably too simplistic an answer but it is a fact that the human body temp. is highest during the late afternoon/early evening hours. 99 degrees is a normal temp. at this time.

(I checked a number of places but the best explanation is at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norma...)

But that doesn't explain your "feeling crappy". Can you give more details about how you feel/what other symptoms you have? "

" by feeling crappy i meant... i feel so tired that when i get a temp anywhere from 99.1 to 100 i am so tired that its hard to get out of bed sometimes.when i feel really good my temp usually runs around 97.6

extreme fatigue when running a higher temp and feeling run down.
my sed rate was 29 at my last appointment but was told not to worry about it "

" Motrin (Ibuprofen) and acetaminophen can reduce fevers. But acetaminophen can cause liver damage if you take it too often as so many people do!

Was this your first child (that could partly explain the fatigue!).

Why not look through the list of groups here at
http://www.dailystrength.org/suppo...
and join some others, like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and post there? You'll get plenty more feedback, I promise! "

" amb,

i feel your pain, hopelessness and frustration. i have been battling something for 6.5 years and getting worse. it makes us feel so powerless when mds dismiss us without really listening or trying to help. that "it's stress" crap or "it could be psychosomatic" BS drives me nuts!

I hope you find that rare good md to help you. I read what that nurse wrote to you, Sounds like she is in the same fix we are all in here. I have had many tests and they all come back negative. I could share a few stories where two females suffered for 50 and 20 years respectively, with very painful illnesses and finally got help. That is too long to suffer and WAY too many incompetent mds to see before finally finding one who LISTENS, BELIEVES and HELPS.

Good luck to all of us. "

" Please dont give up....I remember the day now so well when things were different...I kept having different symptoms I kept going to the doctors..My symptoms were horrendous..I guess the worse one looking back was the burning inside I was inwardly on fire..I would say touch me and people said I was cold...So I feel for you for having a fever oh boy...I kept being told you have stress but one day I had enough and did a sit in at the doctors..I said I would not be moved ..I did get listened to but the thing is my conditon was found and rare but the thing to do is write everything down however small or insignificant it might seem because alot of things can be mistaken for something else...I can see why the doctors thought I had stress ..Keep going keep trying I know you feel tired wiped out ten years of my sneaky assed conditon so took its toll but try and get the strength biggest of hugs to you JJ "
