i think it is important to separate the therapeutic and recreational use of mj, especially in people who are suffering with addiction. There are real, legitimate, and very helpful ways to use, or to quit, the chronic.
i know some people use excuses like, it puts me to sleep, i can't eat without it, or man it gets rid of my anxiety. but, alas these are the same people who smoke up and go out to the movies, or blaze on a beach ride. what i'm getting at is that one should identify if they are truly using mj for therapeutic, or even medicinal reasons. then they should try to modify their use so that it fits with that reason. if you say you smoke to help induce sleep, then skip the wake and bake. if you smoke "because" of any reason, then that should be the only reason. remember when you quit mj, you gain self control. smoking a quarter a day, dutch after dutch, in the backroom fishbowling with your friends is not a constructive way to use this drug in conclusion, i say to empower yourself, and explore your reasons you are smoking. some ppl don't need to quit, they need to control themselves. I think this forum is for people who feel an addiction to marijuana that they need support for. I don't think this forum is for recreational users or people who are able to help themselves with some problem by using it therapeutically and not feel addicted to it.
