I have a spouse who smokes a lot of pot and EVERYONE can tell the moment he has run out. It's like jekel and hyde.
I am a recovering addict myself so watching this painful. Now we have twins on the way and he says he wants to quit, how can I support him when I want to strangle him when he's not smoking? Besides that he doesn't consider himself a "drug addict" because come on "it's just pot" drives me nuts. A drug is a drug is a drug! Anyone have any advice on how to encourage him instead of killing him? :) As I've read in another post I need him to quit needing a mommy and to start being a daddy... I have used Al Anon to help me deal with my suffering for anothers addiction / alcoholism. We're POWERLESS over marijuana, and hoping and waiting for them to change is insanity! There are other posts here from gf's of marijuana addicts wishing they'll change. When we get caught up in trying to fix/ change someones addiction, we can get quite sick and suffer - I understand.

love, you cant change him, you are powerless over him...i had to learn that the hard way with my ex fiance..but yea check out alanon or naranon..if you need a list of either of meetings mail with the place and town you live in and ill get you a list of locations and times..stay strong, love ya
