I'm 14 years old. I posted a question in yahoo!answers and this guy told me that I may have marfans syndrome. I was diagnosed with hypertension, left ventricular hypertrophy(thickening of the left ventrcile), mitral valve rgurgitation, mild scoliois, sponsylolyosis and spondylolisthesis(which I read was One of the major manfestations). I am abit taller than the girls in my class-but not like extremely- Ive had these white, In dented line that runs trough my buttox which my mom says they are strech marks. I am have hypermobility in my ball and socket joint- I can easli dislocate both my shoulders and twist both arms threebtimes and them stick out my elbow. I caj also feel a pullse in my abdomen in which the guy from yahoo!answers told me that it can j be asign of an abdomnal aortc aneurysm bt it may just be normal cus Im slender.I ALSo have a long neck- that's why IM taller-. But to the co ntrary, no one in my family has ever had marfans syndrome( that they know of) and I have nothing wrong with my eyes.I know that if I tell my mom she won't believe me so I jus want I know if there isbapossobly. May have it so I can pursue it when I become an adult. Thankyou!!
