Marfan vs. Swine Flu

Out of curiousity, around work here there have been 2 cases of swine flu people who have caught the virus. Being with Marfan, I've ben told that we're in the higher risk factor population and need to avoid it at all costs. However, there's been no mention of the "higher dangerous inflictions" this visur has for those with Marfan. Anyone heard anything as to what additional symptoms we should be looking out for?

" My cardiologist has put me on the priority list for flu vaccine each fall, because of the cardiac damage Marfan has caused. I hope that this year's flu vaccine will include AH1N1 (swine influenza) protection. I think all folks with Marfan and related disorders should get flu vaccine each fall, just to be on the safe side.
